Culture Audit + Review.

Creating a lawful, ethical and responsible culture.

ASX Compliance Reporting Must Do Note

Thriving culture through compliance.

An organisation’s Code of Conduct and values often articulate the desired culture of an organisation, yet culture lives and breathes in attitudes and behaviours.

The ASX 4th Edition Corporate Governance Principles require Listed Entities to “Instil and continuously reinforce a culture across the organisation of acting lawfully, ethically and responsibly”.

A-HA can perform a cultural review for your organisation that will take both a qualitative and quantitative approach to test what the desired organisational culture is against the actual current state and identify any gaps.

We will question how deeply employees know and understand your values, and can see them being lived every day. We will also look for evidence of how aligned to the company strategy employees are and how that translates into their job, including whether they have clarity on their role and accountabilities; and how connected they feel to the company purpose, values and strategy.

In detail this means a listed entity should:

  • Articulate and disclose its values.
  • Have and disclose a code of conduct for its directors, senior executives and employees; and ensure that the board or a committee of the board is informed of any material breaches of that code.
  • Have and disclose a whistleblower policy; and ensure that the board or a committee of the board is informed of any material incidents reported under that policy.
  • Have and disclose an anti-bribery and corruption policy; and ensure that the board or a committee of the board is informed of any material breaches of that policy.
