'My pain is gone'

I was seeing Jane for my Sciatic pain that used to be so bad i couldn't walk. The pain used to radiate right down to my toes. After only 3 treatments my pain turned to slight tingling, then after one more treatment it was gone. I am back to playng bowls with my friends and haven't looked back. Irene

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient system of healthcare that brings the body back into balance by harmonising Qi (energy). Diseases can be treated and prevented with Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, tui na (chinese massage), diet therapy, moxa and cupping. Meridians (channels) run all over the body and Qi (energy) flows through them. When the Qi is stagnant or not free flowing the body becomes weak and breaks down and this causes diseases. For over 5000 years Chinese Medicine has been used to treat diseases. It used to be the sole treatment but in this day and age western and Eastern medicine have combined to give the patient the best possible outcome when it comes to their health. Many people are on so many different types of western medication that they start taking tablets for the side effects of other tablets they are on. I believe there are better alternatives than this. I believe that with the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as a complementry medicine to western, people will be able to enjoy a healthier and more rewarding life.

As a Chinese Medicine practitioner I use Acupuncture to free flow the Qi (energy) in your body to bring back balance. Acupuncture will Tonify the Qi and also help unblock any obstructions seen. Chinese Herbal Medicine is also used in my treatments to prevent and treat many diseases. Cupping draws out toxins in the body and helps relax the muscles and Tuina and moxa help relax you. Chinese Medicine not only treats the signs and symptoms that present but also targets the root of the problem.
